Travel Itinerary :

Day 1. CITY TOUR

Visit : Sultan Palace, Water Castle,

In the morning at 0800 you will be picked up by our tour guide then we start our City Tour visiting: Sultan Palace, Water Castle, Batik Processing (optional).

Sultan Palace : was built in 1756 and located in the heart of Yogyakarta. This place has function as king residence, cultural and tourism object. The place lies alongside from the north to he south with total wide 1,5 kilometers.

Water Castle : was built in 1761 by King Mangkubumi and relief was combination among; Europe, China, Hindhu, Budha and Islam. The place has function as pleasure garden since Sultan HB I-III and the are three swimming pools are: For king, his wife and his children.

Upon completion of the tour we will take you to hotel for check-in and then free program.

Day 2. YOGYAKARTA – TRANSFER TO DIENG PLATEAU

After breakfast at hotel, drive to Dieng Plateau via Temanggung and Wonosobo. Once we arrive in Dieng the rest afternoon will be yours.

Take a little stroll around village, find lonely temple structure or just sit at the hotel balcony sipping smoked hot tea or coffee. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3. DIENG PLATEAU SUNRISE TREKKING – YOGYAKARTA

Very early morning next day trekking up to the highest hill in Dieng plateau area (2.600 ASL).

Find for yourself a sensation of being on the misty hilltop waiting for the sun rising on the east horizon. You won’t think of more appropriate word to name this rare experience.

Afterward, heading back to the hotel through local potato field and other crops product. Stop by at the bubbling Sikidang crater, Bima temple, volcanic lakes, Colored and Mirror lake with meditation caves nearby.

And from there we return back to Yogyakarta.

Day 4. BOROBUDUR, BABADAN & KETEP PASS

Visit : Mt. Merapi Observatory at Babadan, Ketep Pass, Borobudur, Pawon, & Mendut Temple

Morning at 0600 we depart to Babadan village where you can visit one of observation posts to watch over Mt.Merapi volcano activity. It is the closest place (2,5 km) from its’ crater. Beautiful scenery of plantation and other local agricultural product field on the way.

In Babadan you can see the home of seismograph and old bunker used by the volcanologists observe the activity of one of the world’s most active volcano. Take a deep of your breath while enjoying the scenery around. Afterward, drive to Borobudur via Ketep Pass view point and visit Borobudur, Pawon and Mendut temple on the way back to Jogja. End of services.
