TOUR ITINERARY

D1. Arrival Surabaya - Ijen Area

Upon arrival at Surabaya airport, meeting service and then direct transfer to Ijen area (about 6 hours). Then check in to hotel for overnight.

D2. Ijen Crater Trekking – Mt. Bromo

Early in the morning around, start Ijen (2,400 m) Excursion. We drive to Pal Tuding, the last monitoring station, from which you supposed to take a-3 km trek to the crater. Breakfast will be arranged from the hotel (picnic style). This volcano offers a savannah landscape, ruggedly beautiful panoramas, grand hiking, and a placid, brightly yellow craterlake. The summit of Mt. Ijen is a gorgeous crater filled with haunting turquoise-blue lake with its surface streaked in the wind blow patterns of yellow sulfur vapor. By the crater lake edge, there is an evil-smelling sulfur where local people digging and carrying 70-80 kgs on their bare shoulders for 2 miles ascending and descending steep Mt. Ijen wall. Upon completion, transfer to Mt. Bromo area. Arrival at bromo area, check in to hotel for overnight.

D3. Mt Bromo Sunrise & Penanjakan Peak Tour - Malang

Very early morning, start Mt. Bromo tour. The tour is conducted through a transfer to Cemara Lawang village, and descending the steep slope of Mt. Tengger, crossing the sea-of-sand, and climbing up 245 steps to reach the awesome rim crater where like other tourists wait for the sunrise cracking up the day through its rays from the eastern range of Mt. Tengger. From here a marvelous views of Mt. Bromo and its surrounding can be seen (subject to the weather). After enjoying the sunrise back to the hotel to have breakfast. Next we stop by to visit Madakaripura Waterfall (if weather is permitted), a 150m high of waterfall which believed as a meditation place of The Supreme Gajahmada (High Minister of Majapahit Emperor on 13 Century AC) before continue our trip to Malang.

D4. Apple Plantation – Sarangan Area, Magetan

After breakfast at hotel, check-out and start today’s program visiting apple plantation and continue to Sarangan Lake area, Magetan. Arrival in Sarangan, check in to hotel and overnight.

D5. Sarangan Lake – Sukuh and Tawangmangu Trekking tour - Yogyakarta

After breakfast and enjoy the scenery around the lake sarangan, today’s program continued to visit Sukuh Temple and Tawangmangu. The temple which is known as an erotic shrine of which structure and shape are like no other temple in Java. Explore the temple, then experience another challenge for a hiking trip. Blend of the 14th century's antiquity and fascinating natural surrounding. The two hours hike lasts at Tawangmangu, a local playground with panoramic, refreshing mountain atmosphere and the waterfall.

Upon completion of the tour we will drive to Yogyakarta for overnight.

D6. Borobudur Temple – Yogyakarta City Tour

After early breakfast at 0700 we depart to Borobudur Buddhist Temple one of the forgotten Wonders of the World which was built on 800AD. Then proceed transfer to Yogyakarta City Tour visiting : Sultan Palace, Taman Sari (Water Castle), Ngasem Traditional Bird Market, Silversmith & Batik Processing.

Afterwards free time at Malioboro street.

Return back to hotel for overnight.

D7. Yogyakarta – Transfer Out

After breakfast, Free time until check-out time and transfer out to airport.

Tabuhan Island, Ijen Crater, Mt Bromo in 3 Days 2 Nights

Tour Itinerary

D1. Arrival - Tabuhan Island - Transfer to Ijen Crater area

·         Upon arrival at Surabaya Airport by morning flight, meet & greet by our guide, proceed

transfer to Kampe Beach. Once we reach Kampe Beach, we will cross by speed boat to Tabuhan Island. Tabuhan Island covers an area of about 5 ha. There are spectacular marine gardens, the coral reefs are homes for myriad of shellfish, sponges, crayfish and marine plants. It is good for scuba diving as the water is very clear.

·         After finish relaxing at Tabuhan Island, we crossing back to Kampe Beach and transfer you to Ijen Crater area for check-in hotel & overnight.

D2. Ijen Crater Trekking Tour - Transfer to Mt Bromo area

·         Early in the morning short transfer to Paltuding Ranger Post for starting Ijen Tour, Breakfast will be arranged from the hotel (picnic style) - Ijen Crater shows a special type of volcanic feature common to Indonesia, about 1 km in diameter and 175 meters deep. The floor is covered completely by a warm lake, milky blue green in color, held back by a dam built many years ago by the Dutch, in order to keep the hot mineral, laden water from raining for the crop lands below.

·          After  finishing the unforgettable trip, continue trip to Mt Bromo Area for check-in and free time.

D3. Mt Bromo & Penanjakan Peak Tour - Transfer out to Surabaya

·         At 3.30 in the early morning you'll be wake up and the Jeep will bring you to the world's most famous view point at Mt Penanjakan on the rim of the Tengger caldera to enjoy the sunrise (if we're lucky) with its young volcanic including Mt Bromo and an active Mt Semeru in the background.

·         Afterward the adventure continue to an active Mt. Bromo volcano to climb up 245 step of stairs (Horse ride is optional).

·         Then the Jeep will bring you back to hotel for breakfast and repacking.

·         Next, transfer to Surabaya for your return flight.

Mt Bromo, Ijen Crater, and Sukamade Adventure in 4 Days 3 Nights

Description

Mount Bromo (Indonesian: Gunung Bromo), is an active volcano and part of the Tengger massif, in East Java, Indonesia. At 2,329 meters it is not the highest peak of the massif, but it is the most well known. The Ijen volcano complex is a group of stratovolcanoes, in East Java, Indonesia. It is inside a larger caldera Ijen, which is about 20 kilometers wide. The Gunung Merapi stratovolcano (not to be confused with Central Java's Gunung Merapi) is

the highest point of that complex. Meru Betiri National Park covers 580 square kilometres (58,000 hectares) of eastern Java. It receives few tourists as accessibility is very difficult and the drive is a long bumpy trip, even by 4WD. But this National Park is the best place for the visitors who don't want to be a regular tourist. Tour to Mount Bromo, Ijen Crater, Meru Betiri National Park and East Java is organized as the following itinerary.

Tour Itinerary

D1. Arrival Surabaya - Bromo Area

·         Upon arrival at Surabaya airport, meeting service and then direct transfer to Bromo (about 2,5 hours). 

      Then check in to hotel for overnight.

D2. Mt Bromo Sunrise & Penanjakan Peak Tour - Ijen Area

·         Very early morning, start Mt. Bromo tour. The tour is conducted through a transfer to Cemara Lawang village, and descending the steep slope of Mt. Tengger, crossing the sea-of-sand, and climbing up 245 steps to reach the awesome rim crater where like other tourists wait for the sunrise cracking up the day through its rays from the eastern range of Mt. Tengger. From here a marvelous views of Mt. Bromo and its surrounding can be seen (subject to the weather).

·         After enjoying the sunrise back to the hotel to have breakfast.

·         Around 10.00 we will check-out and continue our trip to Ijen Area. 

      Arrival in Ijen Area, Check in to hotel and overnight.

D3. Ijen Crater Trekking - Sukamade Turtle Beach

·         Early in the morning around 06h00, start Ijen (2,400 m) Excursion. We drive to Pal Tuding, the last monitoring station, from which you supposed to take a-3 km trek to the crater. Breakfast will be arranged from the hotel (picnic style). This volcano offers a savannah landscape, ruggedly beautiful panoramas, grand hiking, and a placid, brightly yellow craterlake. ·         Upon completion, transfer transfer to Sukamade. Along the way, you may see endless plantation of coffee, cacao, and traditional rubber tapping. You may even travel through dense Meru Betiri National Forest where the last Javanese tigers are still believed to roam the area. Stay overnight at simple Sukamade Guesthouse.

·         After simple dinner at the guesthouse, proceed to the Sukamade beach for the turtle excursion (sightings are not guaranteed). See the turtles slowly walk up ashore to lay their eggs. Then back to the guesthouse for overnight.

D4. Sukamade Turtle Beach - Return to Surabaya or Drop at Ketapang Ferry Terminal

·         After simple breakfast at the guesthouse, take a guided inspection to the factory next to the guesthouse to have a closer look at spices, coffee, cacao and rubber processing.

·         Next, transfer out to Ketapang Ferry Terminal (ferry to Bali) or back to Surabaya.

Tour Itinerary :
Day 1. Arrival - Transfer to Ijen Crater
Upon arrival at Surabaya Airport by morning flight, meet & greet by our guide, proceed transfer to Ijen Crater Area (6hrs) for check-in and overnight.

Day 2. Ijen Crater Trekking - Transfer to Mt Bromo 
Early in the morning around 05h30, start Ijen (2,400 m) Excursion. We drive to Pal Tuding, the last monitoring station, from which you supposed to take a-3 km trek to the crater. Breakfast will be arranged from the hotel (picnic style). This volcano offers a savannah landscape, ruggedly beautiful panoramas, grand hiking, and a placid, brightly yellow craterlake. The summit of Mt. Ijen is a gorgeous crater filled with haunting turquoise-blue lake with its surface streaked in the wind blow patterns of yellow sulfur vapor. Upon completion, we continue our trip to Cemorolawang village near by Bromo volcano. Once we arrive at Cemorolawang, check-in at hotel and resting.

Day 3. Early Morning Bromo Sunrise & Penanjakan Tour - Taman Safari Indonesia - Transfer to Malang

At 3.30 in the early morning you'll be wake up and the Jeep will bring you to the world’s most famous view point at Mt Penanjakan on the rim of the Tengger caldera to enjoy the sunrise (if we're lucky) with its young volcanic including Mt Bromo and an active Mt Semeru in the background. Afterward the adventure continue to an active Mt. Bromo volcano to climb up 245 step of stairs (Horse ride is optional). Afterwards the Jeep will bring you back to hotel for breakfast and repacking. At 11.00 we will check-out and transfer to Taman Safari Indonesia for its wildlife animals and also watching variety of animal shows.
From there we continue our trip to Malang (Batu resort) for check-in and overnight.

Day 4. Cubanrondo Waterfall - Transfer to Surabaya - City Tour 
After breakfast at hotel, check-out and start today’s program visiting Cubanrondo Waterfall and continue to Singosari Temple, which was built on 1292AD to memory the King of Kartanegara (the last King of Singosari). Continue transfer to Surabaya for completing todays program by visiting: Cigarette Museum to watch the production process of how to make a handmade kretek (local cigarette with mixture of clove), Cheng-Ho Chinese Mosque, Submarine Museum, Governors Palace (photo stop) and stop at Mirota Handicraft Center.
Next, transfer to hotel for check-in and overnight.

Day 5. Transfer out - Departure 
After early breakfast, check-out and transfer out to airport to catch your flight
