Mt Bromo, Ranu Pane and Ranu Kumbolo in 3 Days 2 Nights

Description

On this trip we will visit Mount Bromo (Indonesian: Gunung Bromo), which is an active volcano as part of the Tengger massif, in East Java, Indonesia. We also will explore a beautiful crater lake on the upland of about 3 km beyond the southern rim of caldera, Ranu Pane. One night at Ranu Kumbolo, one of the lake that will passed if you want trekking to Mt. Semeru, at 2500 meters above sea level.

  

Travel Itinerary

D1 Arrival Surabaya - Bromo Area

Upon arrival at Surabaya airport, meeting service and then direct transfer to Bromo (about 2,5 hours). En route passing Mud Volcano at Sidoarjo which destroyed thousands of houses, terraced rice and sugar cane fields. Then check in to hotel for overnight.

D2 Mt Bromo Sunrise & Penanjakan Peak Tour + Whispering Savanah - Transfer to Ranu Pane - Ranu Kumbolo

At 3.30 in the early morning you'll be wake up and check-out from hotel (breakfast served on box), then the Jeep will bring you to the world’s most famous view point at Mt Penanjakan on the rim of the Tengger caldera to enjoy the sunrise (if we're lucky) with its young volcanic including Mt Bromo and an active Mt Semeru in the background.

Afterward the adventure continue to an active Mt. Bromo volcano to climb up 245 step of stairs. Afterwards we proceed to the "untouch" area of Bromo which is The Whispering Savannah, you'll find yourself like in the middle of nowhere while enjoying all of the greeneries, next the Jeep will bring you to Ranu Pane. After lunch continue our trip with soft jungle trekking to Ranu Kumbolo. Once arrive at Ranu Kumbolo and open camp here. Overnight at Ranu Kumbolo with enjoy barbeque dinner.

D3 Ranu Kumbolo - Ranu Pane - Transfer Out

In the morning after simple breakfast you can try for soft jungle trekking by yourself or swim in the beautiful lake of Ranu Kumbolo. Arround mid-day re-packing and transfer back to Ranu Pane until meet our jeep. Then proceed transfer to Juanda Airport of Surabaya for your return flight.

Mt Bromo, Ijen Crater, and Sukamade Adventure in 4 Days 3 Nights

Description

Mount Bromo (Indonesian: Gunung Bromo), is an active volcano and part of the Tengger massif, in East Java, Indonesia. At 2,329 meters it is not the highest peak of the massif, but it is the most well known. The Ijen volcano complex is a group of stratovolcanoes, in East Java, Indonesia. It is inside a larger caldera Ijen, which is about 20 kilometers wide. The Gunung Merapi stratovolcano (not to be confused with Central Java's Gunung Merapi) is

the highest point of that complex. Meru Betiri National Park covers 580 square kilometres (58,000 hectares) of eastern Java. It receives few tourists as accessibility is very difficult and the drive is a long bumpy trip, even by 4WD. But this National Park is the best place for the visitors who don't want to be a regular tourist. Tour to Mount Bromo, Ijen Crater, Meru Betiri National Park and East Java is organized as the following itinerary.

Tour Itinerary

D1. Arrival Surabaya - Bromo Area

·         Upon arrival at Surabaya airport, meeting service and then direct transfer to Bromo (about 2,5 hours). 

      Then check in to hotel for overnight.

D2. Mt Bromo Sunrise & Penanjakan Peak Tour - Ijen Area

·         Very early morning, start Mt. Bromo tour. The tour is conducted through a transfer to Cemara Lawang village, and descending the steep slope of Mt. Tengger, crossing the sea-of-sand, and climbing up 245 steps to reach the awesome rim crater where like other tourists wait for the sunrise cracking up the day through its rays from the eastern range of Mt. Tengger. From here a marvelous views of Mt. Bromo and its surrounding can be seen (subject to the weather).

·         After enjoying the sunrise back to the hotel to have breakfast.

·         Around 10.00 we will check-out and continue our trip to Ijen Area. 

      Arrival in Ijen Area, Check in to hotel and overnight.

D3. Ijen Crater Trekking - Sukamade Turtle Beach

·         Early in the morning around 06h00, start Ijen (2,400 m) Excursion. We drive to Pal Tuding, the last monitoring station, from which you supposed to take a-3 km trek to the crater. Breakfast will be arranged from the hotel (picnic style). This volcano offers a savannah landscape, ruggedly beautiful panoramas, grand hiking, and a placid, brightly yellow craterlake. The summit of Mt. Ijen is a gorgeous crater filled with haunting turquoise-blue lake with its surface streaked in the wind blow patterns of yellow sulfur vapor. By the crater lake edge, there is an evil-smelling sulfur where local people digging and carrying 70-80 kgs on their bare shoulders for 2 miles ascending and descending steep Mt. Ijen wall.

·         Upon completion, transfer transfer to Sukamade. Along the way, you may see endless plantation of coffee, cacao, and traditional rubber tapping. You may even travel through dense Meru Betiri National Forest where the last Javanese tigers are still believed to roam the area. Stay overnight at simple Sukamade Guesthouse.

·         After simple dinner at the guesthouse, proceed to the Sukamade beach for the turtle excursion (sightings are not guaranteed). See the turtles slowly walk up ashore to lay their eggs. Then back to the guesthouse for overnight.

D4. Sukamade Turtle Beach - Return to Surabaya or Drop at Ketapang Ferry Terminal

·         After simple breakfast at the guesthouse, take a guided inspection to the factory next to the guesthouse to have a closer look at spices, coffee, cacao and rubber processing.

·         Next, transfer out to Ketapang Ferry Terminal (ferry to Bali) or back to Surabaya.

Ijen Crater, Mt Bromo, Malang & Surabaya in 5 Days 4 Night

Visiting Ijen Crater with its ruggedly beautiful panoramas, grand hiking, and a placid, brightly yellow crater-lake, Mt Bromo with its popular Sunrise, Malang the colonial city and the bustling city of Surabaya.

Tour Itinerary :
Day 1. Arrival - Transfer to Ijen Crater
Upon arrival at Surabaya Airport by morning flight, meet & greet by our guide, proceed transfer to Ijen Crater Area (6hrs) for check-in and overnight.

Day 2. Ijen Crater Trekking - Transfer to Mt Bromo 
Early in the morning around 05h30, start Ijen (2,400 m) Excursion. We drive to Pal Tuding, the last monitoring station, from which you supposed to take a-3 km trek to the crater. Breakfast will be arranged from the hotel (picnic style). This volcano offers a savannah landscape, ruggedly beautiful panoramas, grand hiking, and a placid, brightly yellow craterlake. Upon completion, we continue our trip to Cemorolawang village near by Bromo volcano. Once we arrive at Cemorolawang, check-in at hotel and resting.

Day 3. Early Morning Bromo Sunrise & Penanjakan Tour - Taman Safari Indonesia - Transfer to Malang

At 3.30 in the early morning you'll be wake up and the Jeep will bring you to the world’s most famous view point at Mt Penanjakan on the rim of the Tengger caldera to enjoy the sunrise (if we're lucky) with its young volcanic including Mt Bromo and an active Mt Semeru in the background. Afterward the adventure continue to an active Mt. Bromo volcano to climb up 245 step of stairs (Horse ride is optional). Afterwards the Jeep will bring you back to hotel for breakfast and repacking. At 11.00 we will check-out and transfer to Taman Safari Indonesia for its wildlife animals and also watching variety of animal shows.
From there we continue our trip to Malang (Batu resort) for check-in and overnight.

Day 4. Cubanrondo Waterfall - Transfer to Surabaya - City Tour 
After breakfast at hotel, check-out and start today’s program visiting Cubanrondo Waterfall and continue to Singosari Temple, which was built on 1292AD to memory the King of Kartanegara (the last King of Singosari). Continue transfer to Surabaya for completing todays program by visiting: Cigarette Museum to watch the production process of how to make a handmade kretek (local cigarette with mixture of clove), Cheng-Ho Chinese Mosque, Submarine Museum, Governors Palace (photo stop) and stop at Mirota Handicraft Center.
Next, transfer to hotel for check-in and overnight.

Day 5. Transfer out - Departure 
After early breakfast, check-out and transfer out to airport to catch your flight
